Differential pressure Flowmeters

Differential pressure (DP) flowmeters are flowmeters with a restriction mechanism, such as an orifice (plate), in the flow path and measure the flow rate by detecting the pressure difference (differential pressure) that occurs before and after the restriction element due to the flow.

ORIFLOMETER
DP flowmeters that measure the liquid or gas flow rates in main pipes by providing branch pipes with orifices and equipped small-diameter variable area flowmeters or differential pressure gauges to the branch pipes.
Easy to install and economical to measure flow rates even in medium to large diameters due to its bypass design.
Wide range of products, from local indication type without power supply to various alarms, flow signal outputs and explosion-proof certified products.

V-cone® Flowmeters/Wafer Cone® Flowmeters
A V-shaped cone is used as the restriction mechanism, and it fundamentally eliminates the need for straight pipe length, achieving lower pressure loss compared to an orifice.
Suitable for liquids, gases and steam applications.

Pitot Tube Flowmeter
DP flowmeters with porous Pitot tubes as the differential pressure generators.

ORIFLOMETER

Local indication model, Alarm output model

Integrated orifice type flowmeter with a small glass tube variable area flowmeter attached to a measuring tube with an orifice plate.
Suitable for easy flow measurement.
In addition to local indication, alarm output via reed switch is possible.

Multi-function digital model

Integrated orifice type flowmeter with a digital differential pressure gauge attached to a measuring tube with an orifice plate.
Wide lineup including battery type, alarm output and current output type.

Metal tube indicator / transmitter model

The O3000 consists of an orifice plate and a metal tube variable area flowmeter AM3000.
In addition to local indication, current output and HARTⓇ communication can be selected.
Flame-proof (Ex-d) and intrinsically safe (Ex-i) models are also available.

High resolution scale model

This is an integrated orifice flowmeter with a glass-tube variable area flowmeter type R attached to a measuring tube incorporating an orifice plate.
In addition to local indication, alarm output by reed switch or photoelectric switch is available.

Metal tube indicator / transmitter model

The O7000 consists of an orifice plate and a metal tube variable area flowmeter AM7000.
Wide lineup including various alarms, signal outputs, explosion-proof, etc.

V-Cone® Flowmeters

Standard model / V-Cone® measuring tsection

The flow rate is measured by generating differential pressure by restricting the flow with a V-shaped cone placed in the pipeline.
Basically, no straight length is required, and the pressure drop is less than half that of an orifice flowmeter.
A wide range of fluids can be measured, including liquids, gases, and saturated steam.
Equipped with a 2-wire 4-20mA transmitter and explosion-proof version also available.
