The O3000 flowmeter consists of an orifice plate and a metal tube variable area flowmeter (AM3000).
It is designed to measure bypass flow by using a small flowmeter attached to the branch pipe, and thus to enable the measurement of flow rates in large pipes at low cost.

The indicators are selectable from the local indication type, electric transmitter type, and electric transmitter type with HART® communication.
